Recommended use:
- Roll small amount of oil blend onto wrists, temples, behind the ear, or soles of feet.
- Some individuals may be allergic or sensitive to certain oils. Before continued use, it is recommended that a patch test is performed. See below for testing and safety information.
Safety:
- Patch test: Dab a small amount of the oil blend onto your skin and place bandage over the area. Leave bandage on for 24 hours. If you feel any reaction occurring such as itching, redness, or irritation, immediately remove bandage and apply a small amount of vegetable oil or cream. After 24 hours remove bandage. If there is no reaction on the skin, continue use of product.
- It is possible essential oils can cause changes in blood pressure and induce seizers in those who are epileptic. Always check with a physician before use for side effects if you have a medical condition.
- Check our web site for a full list of essential oils we use in our products. If you are allergic to any of them, we do not recommend ordering from us as all blends are created in the same facility and we cannot guarantee cross contamination will not occur.
- Our products are not recommended for children under the age of 12, the elderly, or women who are pregnant or nursing.
- Always check with your physician for drug interactions with essential oils.
- Some essential oils may be phototoxic. We recommend not exposing application area to sunlight immediately after application even if the oil is safely diluted. For a list of oils, please see our web site.
- Avoid prolonged continued use.
- It is recommended product is discarded after one year of placing order.
- For external use only, do not ingest. Avoid contact with mucus membranes.s
Emergency care as directed by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy:
- If essential oil droplets accidentally get into the eye (or eyes) a cotton cloth or similar should be imbued with a fatty oil, such as olive or sesame, and carefully swiped over the closed lid. And / Or, Immediately flush the eyes with cool water.
- If a child appears to have drunk several spoonfuls of essential oil, contact the nearest poison control unit (often listed in the front of a telephone directory). Keep the bottle for identification and encourage the child to drink whole or 2% milk. Do not try to induce vomiting.
